Get Into Alignment
1. Meditation
Meditation is a great way to keep the mind calm and relaxed. It trains the mind to let whatever chitchat is going on inside pass by without holding any judgment or attachment to the thought. This way, our main focus is on the body and breathing at the present moment.
Therefore, distracting your mind from many thoughts to just one, and with practice to none at all.
In turn, it releases endorphins and increases dopamine, serotonin, and melatonin in the body, which leaves you feeling happy, calm, and content.
2. Laugh More
Laughing is a no-brainer as to why this works. We all feel good when we laugh, and if you don’t, then you’re maybe doing it wrong, lol.
When we laugh, we release endorphins, which leave us happy and temporarily relieve pain, thus making us feel good. And when surrounded by a large number of people laughing along with us, this can double the feeling immensely.
For example, when we watch a comedy film or skit show, we raise our vibrations. If you’ve ever been to a stand-up comedy show, you’ll notice that others around you are on that same frequency of happiness and joy; why? because they’ve raised their vibration, too.
Next time you go to a comedy show, look around and notice the people around you and how the atmosphere feels. Then, once you leave and enter a different place, pay attention to the difference in how the energy feels around you. It has shifted, but you’re still on that raised frequency. That is why laughter is the best medicine until you allow someone to disturb it.
3. Read your favourite book.
Read a book that gets you excited and your imagination going. The more engaged you are, the longer your vibration is raised.
4. Smile
This one is simple but works, especially on those days you could do with a smile.
All you’ve got to do is SMILE, Tuh duh! Yep
The trick is that the longer you smile, the more your brain starts working on bringing you more of something that will make you smile. And if you smile long enough, you may end up laughing.
5. Tap into your inner child – It’s ok to be silly.
This one should be fun. If you have children, they should be able to join in with your activity.
You could bake a cake with them, do face and feet painting, or do something that you used to love doing as a child; maybe it was playing video games, in that case, go to an Arcade (that one is my favourite go-to).
But remember, have fun with it and be silly; this is not the time to take life seriously.
